We were a group of ten- comprising of two families. There was a great mix of children, teenagers and the middle-aged people. We realize golf holidays to Florida with this group would go beyond simply having to shop golf equipment. The golf holidays to Florida would require wary consideration and meticulous detailing and we were prepared for some challenge.

I have been on golf trips to numerous places before but these were usually as part of my seminar tour and therefore I did not have to slog out the information. Only other main tour I have planned was a trip to Hawaii with my family and as it was not one of the golf holidays to some unfamiliar place, I did not have to bother relating to what my kids would do when my wife and I went golfing! Happily for us, we were being joined by another family for the trip. Pete and Martha have been my pals since my school days and Pete shared my zeal for golf. Pete had gone on golf holidays to other places before but normally they were calamities because his family was stranded, having nothing to do while he went off golfing. Hence most of the times he would have to give up his golf to keep his family entertained.

With our various experiences, we decided that when we arrange our golf holidays to Florida, we would do it in such a manner that no one would feel bored and we would have our share of golf too.

We could not have selected golf holidays to a better place! We stayed at a lodge that had more than enough room for a group of ten. We had our privacy. There were 3 bathrooms and a spa. What thrilled up my little daughter was the well-maintained swimming pool.

Since Martha was not interested in golf, she, with the older children, was in-charge of the rest of the group. There were some superb places to go shopping and Martha and the kids-children were kept busy while we set to playing some serious golf. My wife had a small injury and so could not play golf the next day. But there was never a boring moment as we enjoyed the golf holidays to Florida. There is an amusement park close by and the ladies and kids set of for the park the next day. They had so much fun that they did not miss us one bit!

Our golf holidays to Florida were few best days of my life. We plan to go on golf holidays to dissimilar places every year now. My eldest daughter is showing very much interest in golf, thus we will have to buy golf equipment for her soon. She might join us in the golf session when we go on golf holidays to any place next time.
