If you’re excessive underarm sweat is causing a problem for you, then this article will show you some of the common solutions which are available to help you with this problem.

Specifically, we’re going to talk about why it’s a problem, some of the medical solutions available, and some of the over-the-counter products which may help. By the time you’ve finished reading this article, you’ll have a better knowledge of the cures available for excessive underarm sweating problems.

The problems that are faced while attempting to prevent excessive sweat are more common than you may have thought. Millions of people are embarrassed and feel humiliated by their sweaty underarms. It can stop you feeling relaxed around other people, and it can make you feel very intense anxiety in certain situations where you think other people are going to notice your sweating problem. It also forces you to cover up the problem by wearing dark clothing, in the hope that your sweating won’t show as much.

Thankfully, there are several medical solutions which can help you with this problem. For example, one of the common solutions provided by doctors, are botox injections. These work by injected botox into the area where you’re most effected by excessive sweating, and it inhibits the sweat glands. The only downfalls of this method are that it can be temporarily painful if you don’t like needles, and the treatment has to be repeated at least every 6 months – sometimes sooner.

If that’s not something you want to try, then you could give over-the-counter products a go. You can use standard antiperspirants from your supermarket – and that may be enough to cure your problem for now. If that’s not working, your doctor may be able to prescribe stronger antiperspirants which may be of more use.

In conclusion, this article has shown you some of the solutions for curing an underarm sweating problem. We talked about why this can be difficult to deal with, some of the medical treatments available, and some of the over the counter solutions. Treatments For Excessive Armpit Sweating

April 10th, 2009

Prevent excessive sweating with the eBook ‘Stop Sweating and Start Living’ Mike Ramsey has made it possible for anyone who has problems with hyperhidrosis to cure excessive sweating.

Stop Excessive Underarm Sweating – Some Treatment Options to Consider.

Excessive underarm sweating is a torture that we simply should not have to endure for the rest of our lives. Going throughout life hiding the sweat marks with dark clothing, keeping our arms down and right at our sides, shying away from intimate moments, avoiding any attention on ourselves, is just all too depressing. There simply has to be a solution, but what could it possibly be? Well, there are a few methods and techniques to look into, but most of them are kind of scary. Want to know what some of these are?

One particular technique uses a certain type of drug which is taken in order to temporarily halter excessive underarm sweating by interrupting the flow of chemical communications from the brain to the sweat glands. It does all this by blocking the production of a certain neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which carries out the communication. There are however, some side-effects, including the tendency of your heart to do jump and race (basically, "palpitate" I think is the correct term here), painful urinary retention, and your eyesight becoming inordinately blurry. Care to try some of this stuff?

I could go on and on about some other frightful treatments and their side-effects, like the techniques which use iontophoresis (sort of an electro-shock therapy, no lie), or injections of the Botox bacterial poison, but it’s generally all the same when it comes down to the end results. They’re all incredibly costly (medical insurance doesn’t cover this kind of thing, you know), can be unpleasantly painful, they’ve got very sketchy side-effects, and in the end, they only give you temporary relief, which means you’ll soon be you needing more treatments again. But as for an actual-factual cure for excessive underarm sweating, is there no such thing?

Well, as a matter of fact, there is, but allopathic medicine won’t ever be providing any. For a totally true and permanent cure, you’ll need to be looking to naturopathic medicine – you know, herbal medicines, natural cures, home remedies, that kind of thing. This is what so many have used for natural, side-effect free, safe and complete solutions which are permanent, inexpensive and remarkably procurable. The fact of the matter is you might just have everything you need to put together a few recipes for an excessive underarm sweating remedy right in your own kitchen. Now, would you like to try some of this kind of medicine?

Excessive Armpit Sweating Can Be Torture

April 10th, 2009

Underarm sweating is embarrassing enough, but excessive underarm sweating is like torture. Think about it, when do we sweat most?

When we are nervous. Weddings, job interviews, first dates, the list goes on and on. All of the most difficult times in our life our made even more stressful when we have to deal with excessive underarm sweating. This is not something that you can easily hide.

So, what does one do? Ok, first of all relax. Whenever possible, avoid being overheated. Now, that does not mean do not enjoy sports and other sweat inducing activities. People expect you to sweat at these time. You can be sure they are too. So do not even worry about that.

What is meant is this. For example, if you are going to a job interview, this is not the time to walk, this is not the time to drive with the windows opened. If possible ride with the air conditioner running. This will help to keep you cooler and fresher.

After showering, make sure that you are completely dry. Dry yourself with a towel gently, so as to not activate the sweat glands. Once dry, use powder. Use it everywhere except on your face. Make sure you are completely cool and dry before getting dressed.

Do not attempt to put on clothing straight out of the dryer. Allow them to cool completely first. Use a good antiperspirant. If you find that the ones available over the counter do not work as well as you would like, talk to your doctor. He or she should have a prescription strength that they can provide you with.

Wear loose fitting, light color clothing. You will be cooler, and even if you should happen to sweat a little bit it will not show.

Be careful about what you eat. Some foods, such as garlic have been known to increase the odor of underarm sweat.

Do not be afraid to "spruce up" throughout the day. At work, at home or even when you are out, you may excuse yourself, go into the rest room and wash up a little. Remember to use the antiperspirant.

Due all of these things, and relax, and soon your excessive underarm sweating will become a thing of the past.

Excessive Armpit Sweating – Are There Any Treatments?

April 10th, 2009

Excessive armpit sweating is a torturous condition which you just can’t hide, even though we might try our best at it, and the most frustrating thing about it all is when everything we try to do to rid ourselves of it simply fails. So what else can we do?

We end up going to see the doctor. Of course, modern medicine in general can never cure anyone from anything… it’s just not within the nature of today’s medical science.

But it does offer "quick fixes" and treatments that can supply temporary relief until more treatments are needed. Does that sounds disappointing? Well, let’s not forget that they can be outrageously expensive, be chock-full of harmful side-effects, and the treatments themselves being administered can be dangerous as well. So then, what are some examples of these treatments?

Let’s assume that your excessive armpit sweat is a somewhat mild case. That being so, you could always shell out a huge bankroll for electro-shock therapy! Iontophoresis is the treatment that has you immerse your body under water, then zap some voltage through it. After quite a lot of unpleasant and somewhat painful sessions, you can benefit from a short period of relief until you soon need more expensive sessions.

You might opt to take anticholinergic drugs… these alter your brain’s chemistry as it blocks certain neurotransmitters which carry the communication from your brain to the sweat glands. As a package deal, you can enjoy powerful side-effects such as your vision becoming blurry, your heart flipping around wildly like a bug on a hot rock, and painful urinary retention.

But then, you could always take injections of lethal bacteria found in botulism! Botox is often utilized as a temporary fix to deaden your sweat glands… or much more, if you happen to be allergic. Seriously though, none of this is needed even one bit. Where today’s "state-of-the-art" allopathic medicine seems to fail, naturopathic medicine proves to succeed.

There exist numerous natural remedies even for seriously advanced cases of hyperhidrosis (excessive armpit sweat, in this particular case) which thousands of sufferers have used in order to completely eliminate this affliction from their lives once and for all. Hey, you might just have all of the ingredients to some of the recipes used to make these remedies, right in your kitchen this very minute! Certainly, this is something definitely well worth looking into.

Excessive Armpit Sweat – Can We Have a Cure Please?

April 10th, 2009

Excessive underarm sweat can be hell, truly. We hide it all the time, keeping our arms at our sides, preventing any attention from coming onto us, never raising a hand to wave to anyone, wearing dark clothing to hide the marks on our clothes, fearing intimate moments, and so on. This torture we endure day to day can be quite fatiguing in both body and spirit. What is there to do?

Unfortunately, modern medicine can only provide quick, temporary fixes for excessive underarm sweat, if even that. What’s more, they can be fairly sketchy as fare as safety goes, and the side-effects themselves are pretty darned creepy if you ask me. For example, there are some drugs which are prescribed to stop excessive underarm sweat by altering the chemical activities in the brain…

It stops the communication between brain and sweat glands by halting the production of the neurotransmitters that carry the communication about. Side-effects include your heart flipping around like a flea on a hot brick, your vision getting all blurry, and painful urinary retention. Want to try some?

I could go over other scary treatments here, like the electro-shock therapies (iontophoresis) and the Botox, but they’re all the same. They’re all outlandishly expensive, unpleasant or painful, gruesome side-effects, and when all is said and done, they’re merely temporary fixes, needing more treatments later on. But what about a cure for excessive underarm sweat – can we get one of those?

This is where naturopathic medicine comes in… many have found absolute cures with natural remedies, and since they’re all-natural, there are no side-effects, and the effects are not temporary, but permanent. Now, doesn’t that sound much safer?

How To Stop Armpit Sweat Naturally

April 10th, 2009

Are you looking for how to stop underarm sweat? Sweating is a normal process of the human body. Without sweating, our body will be unable to release the excess heat accumulated in our bodies.

Some of us, unfortunately, suffer from an excessive sweating condition called underarm hyperhidrosis. Besides sweating in the underarms, hyperhidrosis sufferers can also sweat excessively in other areas of the body, like on the face or feet.

Excessive underarm sweat has been known to cause many social problems. Besides making the sufferer feel embarrassed around people, employers are also less likely to hire people who suffer from excessive sweating, if possible, because the sweat stains created are usually unsightly. On top of that, sufferers may start avoiding social contact, to avoid getting embarrassed at all. Body odor is another effect of excessive underarm sweating.

Underarm sweat can certainly be treated, but the right treatment method will depend on how much sacrifice you are willing to make. Some people prefer to use deodorants and antiperspirants, but what they are really doing is masking the symptoms of underarm sweating, instead of treating the causes directly.

More effective treatment methods include surgery and botox injections, but they can be expensive and painful. Most people feel that these methods are not worth it, and I certainly agree. If you really need to treat underarm sweating, I would suggest you use natural remedies first, as I’ve personally used them to great effect. This method involves using readily available products at home that are applied every morning and night. I also changed my diets to avoid food that will worsen my excess perspiration, and instead choose diets that contain food to reduce hand sweating. You can follow the link below to find more information about how I managed to treat my own underarm sweating problem.

Excessive Sweating Underarms – What Can Be Done?

April 10th, 2009

Excessive sweating underarms… sounds almost like the name of a badly made horror movie. It’s a horrible thing to be suffering from indeed. It does no good at all for keeping any kind of positive self image.

And aside from all of the deeply depressing parts of this condition, it’s a severe pain to deal with… the constant hiding of it, keeping your arms at your sides, keeping attention away from yourself, and so forth. All that right there alone can be truly fatiguing to both the body and the soul. But anyways, just what on Earth can be done about any of it?

Well now, just what do most of us do in any case like this? We most often turn to powerful prescription drugs. Now it is well known that these can have very frightfully dangerous side effects, and the treatments in and of themselves can otherwise be rather sketchy. For example, the use of Botox… injecting a lethal (and quite expensive) poison, merely for the temporary relief of excessive sweating underarms for just a short while just seems a bit like overkill.

Then you’ve got your neurotransmitter inhibitors which block the brain’s communications with your sweat glands, providing side-effects such as painful urinary blockages and heart palpitations. Electro-shock therapy is also available, believe it or not, which is a quite unpleasant temporary fix which also costs a bundle.

Of course, these treatments, which merely provide temporary relief, also have more in common – they all seem to overdo things, don’t they? It’s just a mite like trying to blow your nose with a nuclear bomb. Is it any wonder why the vast majority nowadays look to natural remedies for their needs? Considering that they’re rather inexpensive, there are no side effects because they’re all natural, they permanently eliminate this problem, and are easily procurable, the answer seems clear. Now, think about all of these choices… which among these would you rather take for your excessive sweating underarms?
