Excessive Armpit Sweating Can Be Torture

Underarm sweating is embarrassing enough, but excessive underarm sweating is like torture. Think about it, when do we sweat most?

When we are nervous. Weddings, job interviews, first dates, the list goes on and on. All of the most difficult times in our life our made even more stressful when we have to deal with excessive underarm sweating. This is not something that you can easily hide.

So, what does one do? Ok, first of all relax. Whenever possible, avoid being overheated. Now, that does not mean do not enjoy sports and other sweat inducing activities. People expect you to sweat at these time. You can be sure they are too. So do not even worry about that.

What is meant is this. For example, if you are going to a job interview, this is not the time to walk, this is not the time to drive with the windows opened. If possible ride with the air conditioner running. This will help to keep you cooler and fresher.

After showering, make sure that you are completely dry. Dry yourself with a towel gently, so as to not activate the sweat glands. Once dry, use powder. Use it everywhere except on your face. Make sure you are completely cool and dry before getting dressed.

Do not attempt to put on clothing straight out of the dryer. Allow them to cool completely first. Use a good antiperspirant. If you find that the ones available over the counter do not work as well as you would like, talk to your doctor. He or she should have a prescription strength that they can provide you with.

Wear loose fitting, light color clothing. You will be cooler, and even if you should happen to sweat a little bit it will not show.

Be careful about what you eat. Some foods, such as garlic have been known to increase the odor of underarm sweat.

Do not be afraid to "spruce up" throughout the day. At work, at home or even when you are out, you may excuse yourself, go into the rest room and wash up a little. Remember to use the antiperspirant.

Due all of these things, and relax, and soon your excessive underarm sweating will become a thing of the past.
