You may also want to try a variety of oral drugs. Among the most common are Ditropan, Robinul, and Pro-Banthine, which are formulated to control nerve signals so that they won’t tell the body to produce sweat. But, you have to realize that their anti-sweating properties are only side-effects since these drugs are not really formulated for hyperhidrosis.
And finally, there are Botox and ETS (Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy) surgery. The former is often required by insurance companies prior to approving the latter. Botox includes the injection of a toxin called botulism toxin to the area in the skin in which sweating is excessive; ETS do the same thing by clipping and disabling the nerves using operation.
